From large stages such as The Bulletproof Conference to intimate gatherings like The W.E.L.L. Summit, audiences have been floored by how much knowledge and motivation Ariane can pack into a speech. This is an aspect of her work she is highly passionate about, as public speaking gives Ariane the opportunity to see in real time how her healing words affect others. Ariane’s presentations have been in person as well as virtual, with audiences ranging from online gatherings hosted by communities for older citizens, to her traveling across the U.S. for three days of recipe demonstrations for healthy eating enthusiasts.
Her books have made for popular speaking topics: She has been featured at events to speak about topics such as bone broth, healing from illness, and how to imbibe alcohol in a more thoughtful and healthful manner. Her articles for online platforms have also heavily impacted her speaking work. For example, she is a strong advocate for accessibility and inclusivity in the wellness industry and has spoken to both consumers and wellness professionals about the inherent racism and classism in this space and how individuals and businesses can go about creating change.
As someone with a miasma of marginalized identities herself–Ariane is gay, racially ambiguous, dyslexic, Jewish, a survivor of a half decade of chronic illness in her 30s, and was diagnosed autistic at age 46–she has used those marginalizations to educate, with the goal of crafting an easier path for future generations. She welcomes opportunities to speak about lifestyle topics beyond the wellness and culinary realms, such as femme invisibility, ethnic ambiguity, and late-diagnosed autism. Speaking rates begin at $1,000 for a one hour presentation. If your event is outside of the Los Angeles area, travel and accommodations are to be provided. Interested in having Ariane speak at your event? Send her an email detailing your needs, and she’ll be happy to schedule an initial discussion.
